Meet the Trainers

Runaway Girl is an inclusive organization that empowers and connects survivor experts, who choose to do meaningful work in their communities and beyond. Our goal is to work in partnership with local organizations that share in our vision of a free world.

Our expertise is in the creation of policy, laws, and programs that respond to all forms of human trafficking at the local, national, and global level.

We share in your passion for learning and teaching to help eradicate trafficking everywhere.

Interested in becoming a Runaway Girl Trainer?

Runaway Girl trainers bring their own unique work, educational, and life experiences to the fight against human trafficking! Our trainers have experience in law, policy, social work, writing, speaking, web development, design, music, spoken word, and curriculum design. Our alumni networks reach across the UC and CSU systems, with graduates from UCLA, UCSD, UC Berkeley, CSU Fresno, and more. We encourage survivors that have completed graduate degrees to send us their resumes and a request for more information on how to bring the RG to their communities. We were built to support you in your goals to become a local resource! Our members will also support and mentor survivors who are pursuing employment, higher education and certification programs.
